Found the perfect kilt pin for my Leaf Peeper
Now that I've received my new kilt in the "Leaf Peeper" tartan, and with thoughts turning toward my autumn foliage trip, I went searching for an appropriate kilt pin, and found just the thing, on Etsy. And at 2 1/4 inches long x 1 1/2 inches wide, it looks like it'll be eye-catching.

That is really nice Ken. Can't wait to see it on the kilt.

Very nice and absolutely appropriate. Just make sure it doesn't Fall off this Autumn, I'd hate to see that beauty in the compost heap!

Simon Fraser fought as MacShimidh, a Highland chief… wrapped and belted in a plaid over the top of his linen shirt, like his ordinary kinsmen. He put a bonnet on his head, and stuck the Fraser emblem, a sprig of yew, in it. With the battle cry, A'Chaisteal Dhunaidh and the scream of the pipes, they charged to battle. It's definitely getting the "big rubber band" treatment, when it goes on the kilt. And I found a smaller companion pin to use with it, also ordered...
