Our founder Hank Hanna used to sell t-shirts etc. at Highland Games. One of the companies he purchased stuff from was CaberDancer Graphics.
CaberDancer are the folks who first came up with the X Marks The Scot phrase.

When Hank formed this forum he got permission to use the wording as long as he added the .com ending.

So, yes, the saying "X Marks The Scot" is owned by CaberDancer and they still use it for t-shirts, license plate frames and other stuff.

XMarkstheScot.com is the name of this forum.

I know some of our members like retired moderator Mael Coluim has one of these shirts.

At the Flagstaff games last weekend the tile sales folks were selling a tile that said X Marks the Scot with a saltire background. Of course there was no ".com" on the tile.

I guessed that XMarks had become a big enough market some vendors were catering to us.
