New Zealand based kilt makers
Hi folks, because i haven't been here for a while i forgot my user name and password ! now sorted although i see i am classed as a newbie again, o well, basically i need your collective help to source a New Zealand based kilt maker. My son who currently resides in NZ is getting married in NZ in January and wants to wear an Argyle jacket and kilt outfit. Rather than get a kilt made here in the UK it would be more logical to get it made in NZ, so may i throw out the question Does anyone know of a quality kilt maker in NZ?
many thanks
Stephen

You should notice that the "New Member" classification is now gone. It is removed automatically when you log on again but with over 19,000 members it can take a while to update.

You may have to clarify his home area. A member may know someone local to him that could assist your son and kilt making process better or even hire/buying options.

That was from a quick Google search, I have no idea what any of them are like. There are also kilt makers in Australia sometimes it's cheaper to come over here and buy.

There are a number of Highland Games in New Zealand which include Pipe Band competitions. I suggest that you Google the City of Auckland Pipe Band. I am sure that they will know about the local kilt makers.
Good luck - I hope that the wedding goes well.
