    Pocket in my new kilt

I recently received a full weight Maple Leaf kilt made by Burnets and Struth from Locharon cloth. It has a pocket under the apron. I cannot make my own photos right now, so I have borrowed this one from another article to show it. I do not have such a pocket on either of my other two kilts. What is this pocket for? Do other makers put them in?

It's in the apron, not the underapron? Otherwise I have an idea what you could put in there

A number of kilt makers add this hidden pocket. Like all pockets put in it what you like, but I would suggest something flat like a passport or a money clip.
