Six Kilties Including Two Pipers
I must admit that it was a fun and relaxing evening for Sierra Vista's first kilt night. Here are the pictures.
First DaveZero showed up with some kilted compadres. I thought the leather kilt was great. Might have to add one to my list.
The Guinness was flowing rather well as we all had a bite to eat and waited for kiltedfirepiper and Vinny to show.
Here is kiltedfirepiper tuning up!

They played about five sets and really got the Pub stomping, clapping, glass slamming and generally misbehaving.
The patrons were very pleased.
I even managed to recruit 3 more ruggers for a pitch. The big guy on the left (Seamus) is from Ireland and was very happy to have found us this night. I didn't want to break it to him that it wasn't always this happenig. Reportedly kilt nights will soon become an advertised mainstay at the pub.
I passed the hat to stave off bad luck and reimburse some gas money. Yes someone tipped in Pesos.
As we were feeling our drink we decided to have the official kilty pictures.
This one reminds me of beer follies hosted by Hamish.
Left to Right. DaveZero Buddy (please remind us Dave), Vinny the Mayan/Portugee Piping genius, Daves buddy in the cool leather kilt (Remind me Dave), DaveZero, O'Neille, Kiltedfirepiper. (I think Vinny does the Hamish best, heck I actually smiled, there must be something about it that's automatic)
They made a local cable commercial. I'll be obtaining a DVD of it when it is produced and will post a few snippets here.
I'd like to thank everyone for making this a good kilted night out. O'Neille

Nice shots.
O'Neille do you by chance post on SFI on occasion? You look very similar to the guy who does the tire-pell endurance testing on production swords, and then obviously rates them for value based on performance... also did a section on period longbows, and how to effectively exercise each muscle system, building up to a full wekk routine focusing on different systems?
Just had to ask... the resemblance makes it tough to not ask,

I only translated about half your post so it couldn't be me as I don't speak the language. What is SFI, I'll have to see what this twin of mine looks like. This is the first BB I've ever been on. I guess I never knew what I was missing. O'Neille

O'Neille
Oh, heck! I am really flattered. Well done guys.
I am inclined to agree that Vinny made a very good job of it, but you came a very close second, O'Neille! Some interesting tartans there, but it's good to see the Union Kilts heavy leather so far from home.

Looks like a great time all around.
I'm hoping to get down to Tucson sometime before the end of the year, maybe I can sneak in on another Arizona Kilt night!
