Opinions on Belt Design
I posted this under another thread but thought I might get more response in this section.
I'm looking for some feed back on what the preference would be on a belt embossed with a pattern would be.
I'm evaluating 2 patterns right now. Which do you prefer?
Hounds
Imagine the trinity knot placed between the hounds rears.
Knot
This is for a 2" or 2-1/2" belt.
Would there be a demand for a wider belt? 3"?

Not embossed...maybe just 2 lines....I like plain belts best.
2.25" ("standard" kilt belt width?) is wide enough for me, but I'm not a big bloke...I can imagine guys with a bit more...uhm...err..."volume" prefer a 3 or more.

I'm with robin on this. After looking for a great brown belt, I found that simple was best.

I also prefer a plain 2.25-inch kilt belt.

Clearly you will need to make a couple, send them to me and I'll wear them and record feedback. All of the market resarch is yours to keep, no cost.

The posters who have responded with "plain", are you meaning, no embossing at all or just a simple detailing as Robin described?
Here are 2 more "simple" designs to portay the Saint Andrews Cross.
Still more detailing than has been suggested but I'm just testing the waters.
