...As I sink deeper into the clutches of addiction....
So, I now have two kilts on order. I never actually thought I'd have two different kilts, from two different kilt makers in the "pending" status at the same time.
I just got off the phone with Rocky (USAK.) I ordered my 9th kilt (2nd USA kilt.) A casual model in the MacDonald tartan with belt loops to accomodate a wide belt. Number 8 is still on order from Matt (boxpleat, Henderson weathered, 16 oz Strome.) I think my addiction can best be summed up in the words of Guns and Roses:
I used ta do a little but a little wouldn't do
So the little got more and more
I just keep tryin' ta get a little better
Said the little better than before
I used ta do a little but a little wouldn't do

I just keep tryin' ta get a little better
Said the little better than before

At the pub one evening, my wife was commiserating with Ann, another piper's wife;
Wife: "Does it ever end?"
Ann: "Certainly. Every time Stewart goes out and buys another bit of Highland wear, I go out and buy a new ring. That stops it right quick."

I just shared that story with my wife, her response... "that would not stop you, that would just encourage you!'
She tells me I spoil her, but that is only fair, she spoils me....

Or in the words of "Randy Marsh" (the guy in my avatar, South Park character)
"I've got a diseeeeeeeeease!!"
Yeah, I'll admit it. I enjoy the jonesing a bit. Gives me something to look forward to after spending endless hours in the laboratory....
