Every Kilt Inspector Needs a Regimental Validator - The Official Kilt Check Tool

Also the Original Kilt Check Tool. Available from the Northern Arizona Celtic Heritage Society.

    http://www.nachs.info/celticmarketplace.shtml Scroll down.

The Regimental Validator comes with a lovely information card and pretty blue bow. You can see it compresses to a mere 5 3/4" for convenient carry....like a pen. Or with the gold Celtic knot design it can be worn like jewelry. Very inconspicuous.

This side view shows the pen clip, and how the mirror with the knot on the back could be worn over the collar as decorative jewelry - a lovely fashion accessory.

The makers say it extends to 24"...maybe that's with the mirror extended. I only got 22" with the mirror in position to do a validation. Still, plenty of length to get the job done.

The mirror is 1 1/4" in diameter....apparently enough for an official kilt inspection.

As the card says - "Guaranteed to answer the question of the ages!"

A mere $12.00 USD plus shipping and proceeds support the NACHS Scholarship Program.

A kilt inspector without a regimental validator is half a kilt inspector...

Thanks, Riverkilt, I do like this item.
BTW, me wife already knows how to do a kilt check without one of these.

Tartan is the Cameron Black and Red from the House of Edgar's Old and Rare collection.

Methinks the Regimental Validator offers the Kilt Inspector a wider range of options for doing the kilt check...perhaps allows the job to be well done with "strangers" where a hands on inspection would be a bit forward.

The makers of the device also point out that it allows inspections to be done discreetly....perhaps better worded as "sneaky."

A kilted gent with his back to the inspector might have no indication that an inspection was in progress should she deploy the Regimental Validator from his blind spot.
