Rothesay at Ballindalloch
The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay officially opened the new Ballindalloch Distillery on the Rothiemurchus Estate yesterday. That's Guy Macpherson-Grant on the left in the first pic.

The Duke is aging well, and dressing as sharp as ever. I like the concept of a "single estate distillery," I look forward to tasting a dram in about ten years.

What's the tartan Guy Macpherson-Grant is wearing?

Black shoes and brown sporran? Maybe it's just me, but I think it looks odd. I like the checkered hose, though.

Always black shoes. Traditional.

Sounds like a plan to me! Then after a dram or three, we can all do our best wolf impression and howl at the moon.

I was thinking of elevenses, Jock, but if you wish to provide the wherewithal for a carry-on to deepest, darkest night I'm sure we will find a large circle to join the howl. In our windiness we can even call ourselves the Standing Council of Chiels.
