Nudge Nudge, Wink Wink, Feileadh Mor

Last night was the 10th Annual -- and final -- Nor Cal Rabble Burns Supper. Since it was to be the last, I wanted to honor the event by doing something I haven't in many years and going "Old School", circa 1745, rather than in modern Highland dress. As I also expect it to be the last time I go attired this way, it seemed even more fitting.

An older lady wearing a long skirt in Black Stewart sett remarked to me that she thought it a terrible shame men don't still dress this way today.

Very nice! And I have to say that I love the Monty Python reference in the thread title - very clever!

    Last Supper

For those wondering why this was the last of these events, Panache explains it -- along with posting a gazillion great photos of the evening -- over here:

What a pleasure to see a new post from you. Very well turned out, as ever. I particularly like the way you did the garter ties. And I always enjoy seeing Lamar's sporrans in the wild.
