Just wanted to throw this out there in case anyone is interested. There are a number of Raise the Macallan events Scheduled this month in the following cities:

New York
Chicago
Miami
San Francisco
Washington DC

Don't know anything about it other than you pick a timeslot (1.5hrs) and get a bit of free scotch. That and I like The Macallan is enough for me to check out the DC event.

Just registered for NYC on 10/22. I see that registration does not guarantee a space, which seems odd. I guess I will have to head down early.

I noticed that as well. I plan to take that Friday off from work just to make there early.

I will be heading there early. Oddly enough I have another event in NYC right after that, which is beer themed. I am supposed to get off work at 3 that day, but perhaps I will go to the city a bit earlier.
