Harpenden Gathering: XMtS gets a mention.
The on-line version of the 'St.Albans Review' (the local newspaper covering the Harpenden area of Hertfordshire, here in the United Kingdom) has a brief write-up on the Harpenden Highland Gathering 2008, which several of us** attended yesterday.
It is nice to see that the reporter has given a bold mention of X Marks the Scot in her piece.
Here is the link:

** Alex, Trefor, Martin, Jim, Derek and me - not necessarily in that order!
Derek and I were also interviewed by 'Radio Verulam', but I doubt if any of us will hear the transmission as it is a local Hertfordshire station!
Take care,
Ham.

What a nice article, thanks for pointing it out, I do like the photo, unfortunately it is rather small.

surprising though that the 2 heavy athletes pictured were wearing tights rather than kilts.
it sure looks like it was a fantastic event, congratulations to you all who attended and were profiled.
