How often do you see another guy kilted?
The topic comes up from time-to-time about how often we see other kilted men. I know there was a recent awareness of how many of us do not wear a kilt full-time - perhaps it's time for an awareness of how many are effectively lone-kilties.
Edit: And I meant outside your immediate family, if you're married to a kiltie, for instance! :-) But it would be worthwhile mentioning this in a comment...

Aside from me, I see about 5 or 6 other guys around here occassionally.
That's about it.

I indicated the same few guys from time to time, as our Rabble gets together fairly regularly.
Otherwise, I would have indicated very occasionally. I can count four times in the past year that I have seen men kilted, out and about. One was semi-formal at the Celtic Thunder concert. The other three occasions were Utilikilts in different places on the street, so to speak.

For me its' basically highland games, ren faires, and the very rare boston area gathering.

I voted occasionally, excluded Highland Games, Kilt Nights and meeting chums for lunch. In the last year out and about, I’ve seen two utilikilts and two ‘hot topics’, but not a traditional kilt.

I've never actually seen another kiltie out and about in my neck of the woods. What's interesting is that I've seen, twice now, bumper stickers on cars that lead me to believe the drivers were kilt wearers (one said "Kiss my bagpipes" :P)

Generally the same bunch, but then from time to time some others do show up. I expect to see a lot come Burn's night, and the Kirkin' O' theTartan the following Sunday (which is actually R. Burns' birth anniversary.

Besides Highland Games and Celtic Festivals, only at family get togethers.
Does going to see Celtic Thunder count?

I saw a nice looking kilt from a distance in Stratford about a week ago, other than that it's the usual folks you might see. I don't think that that is discouraging though, as the numbers are definitely increasing. As is the public perception of 'cool factor'.
