Is anyone having problems with our web site?
Hi, gang!
Our internet sales have really dropped off the past three days. No big deal, it happens sometimes, you just have a few slow days in a row every now and then. We figured with the Easter holiday, people just weren't spending that much time in front of their computers (we actually find that most people do their on line shopping from work!).
Anyway, we weren't overly concerned, but a little while ago someone phoned in an order and said they couldn't get the shopping cart system on our web site to work. She reported that she could add her items to the cart, but couldn't get it to complete the check out process.
We were happy that she phoned in the order, of course, and let us know of the problem.
We use a PayPal shopping cart on our web site, as many know. We've checked our PayPal account and all is ok, and we've "test driven" our shopping cart all we can and we don't seem to have any problems with it.
So, it could be just a problem on this one user's end. However, coupled with the few days in a row of below average sales, we have to wonder if there might not be a larger problem.
So.... since we cannot find anything wrong up front, I was wondering if anyone else was having any problems getting the shopping cart to work on our web site. If so, can you please PM or email me with the details.
If not, let me know that, too! :-) Hopefully this was just one isolated problem, but I want to play it safe.
Matt

Matt- I went all the way to checkout with no problems. It must be the weekend, Easter and everthing. Happy Easter to all.

Thanks for reporting. We've had no further reported issues and everything seems to be running pretty smoothly, so likely it was just an isolated incident, most likely something on the user's end.
