Scholarship: Bagpipe making
Hi all,
I would really appreciate your support for me the People's Choice Award of the AMP (New Zealand) scholarship.
I've applied for funding to get my bagpipe making off the ground, and there is a (very) big prize going to the person with the most votes in the People's Choice.
Anyway, I need as much community support as I can get, and would really appreciate you giving me your vote by following (copying/pasting) the link:

Thanks so much for helping me out!

You've got my vote, mate.
You're less than 600 votes out of first place. SURELY we kilties can send you over the top.
Best of luck furthering the push for craftsmanship over cheap mass-production
Keep us all posted on the progress and results.
BTW: I'm putting your link in my signature

Hey!
Thanks so much,
I appreciate it! I don't know how she's doing it- The voting only opened this morning in New Zealand and it seems like she had 500 almost instantly...
never mind...
Quality over Quantity ;)
Thanks again for the support!
Cheers,
Michael

You got my vote..Lovely looking pipes. Would love to hear a sound bit. Do you use mostly maple, cherry etc, or do you also use some of the more traditional woods as well? Wish I had that kind a skill man!!

Have you put your request up on the bob dunsire forum? I reckon you'd do well there.

Very best of luck - the world needs more makers of music-makers.

Add 1 more from me. That's really pretty turning. I like the lack of combing and other ornamentation.
