I worked with a fellow who had gone to work for Range Rover when they made their big re-entry into the U.S. market. As part of his training, he was sent to the UK for meetings at the factory and with major vendors, including Lucas.
He swore up and down that when they visited Lucas World HQ building, with its big outdoor sign, that one of the letters in "LUCAS" was burned out...
aka Prince of Darkness! Tons of PoD jokes, and I think I lived through most of them during my years of driving British sports cars!

Well, it is nice to see an old joke pop up now and again. I was telling this one back in the late 60s while laying a wrench on Triumphs, MGs, and Austin Healey's. This joke is also great for early Triumph motorcycle owners.
