LeChee' Rock
Was out shooting some pics of my new Aran Kilt hose from Rocky (see thread under accessories) and decided to take some full pics too.

LeChee' Rock is a prominent landmark out side of Page, AZ on the Navajo reservation. The Navajo town of LeChee' is named for it....or vice versa...whichever. LeChee' is the Navajo word for red - it is a very red rock in the sunlight.

For you folks that aren't sure, the thing at my feet is a cattle guard. Livestock can't walk across it so they stay on the side of the fence the owner wants them to.
Kilt is my Arizona tartan kilt hand sewn by Kathy Lare. Kilt hose are my new handknit Aran kilt hose from USA Kilts. Very toasty hose on a cold and grim day.

Couldn't help but notice the TKLV jacket. Fond memories of a place that is no more...

I would guess that Z-Coils can't walk across the cattle guard, either.

Nice
Nice hose Ron! I've been lusting after a pair since I saw Rocky's new web page cover photo. Too late to go on my Christmas list, but I do have a birthday coming up if any of you are long on cash and short on friends!!
Ya, are bovine buddies aren't the brightest beasts. It isn't that they cant walk over the cattle guards, its that they are afraid too!! You've seen them actually painted on solid pavement, apparently they think they will fall through the lines, and that is all it takes to encourage them to stay put. Thank goodness they're tasty !!
