    Good lookin' work there. It gets better. Do you pre-punch your holes? Doesn't look as nice, but it's an option that'll make it easier.

    If you want to relieve your hands a bit, use a mallet and a 3-4 prong punch to set your holes first. It will make the stitching easier on your fingers and straighter.
