Ten days till the AZ Ren Fest

Red_Raven_Studios and I are planning to be there opening day, February 9th. I will be wearing either my SWK Standard in Weathered McKenzie, or my FC in Macpherson Red. I haven't made up my mind yet. R_R_S doesn't have a costume, so I will not be garbing up for the day.

Who else is going to go? Two for one tickets opening weekend...

    Arizona no, Carolina yes

Sorry Chromescholar, will not be at the Arizona Faire, but we look forward every year to the other Faire put on by the parent company Royal Faires, in North Carolina.

So many of the same performers are at both faires. Don Juan and Miguel, Dextre Tripp, Hey Nunnie Nunnie, Bathos the Muse, Ded Bob Sho, Green Man, London Broil, Puckerbrush Players, Tortuga Twins (all three), Zilch the Torysteller.

    Enjoy!

I tend to attend the AZ Ren Faire every other year, so I'm due to go this year (ya gotta have a bladder of titanium to only go every other year! ), but I can't go on the 9th, I'm DJing at a Sweet 16 party that day. I'll probably try going on the 16th. And don't forget - this is the 20th Anniversary of the Zonie Ren Faire! Huzzah!

Sorry we won't see you there. We can only go the 9th or the 10th, and the rest of our non-kilted group can only go on the 9th.

Gonna be in Sedona for a marathon my lady is walking. I'm massage support. Hope to get to the Ren Faire sometime this year. Been a while. Been going a lot of years and lately its seemed pretty much the same...'course I could live there just feasting on the visual delights of some of the costumes....

Somewhere I still have four paper English Pounds. The fish and chips place always asks for payment in "pounds" and I aways attempt to pay with the "pounds" they ask for. Somehow the humor seems lost on the younger lassies.

we were thinking about going till we saw the price.....its gone up 6 bucks since we last went!

20 bucks seems a little much.
I always looked at it that I was paying money to spend money ( entrance fee/ shops)
but now that we're looking at 40 bucks to go watch a few shows, and shop well......

that and the Guinness goes down WAAAyyy too easy there!!

Keep in mind, opening weekend, 9th/10th, ticket prices are two for one, which makes it $10.00 apiece.

For anyone else going on Saturday the 9th (day after tomorrow), I will be wearing my McPherson Red Frugal Corner kilt, and a black Jacobean shirt. I will probably, all things going our way, be in the area of the main gate just before opening.

Hope to see some of you out there!
