Question about the elkommando kilt sizing.

I have just purchased a new elkommando kilt. I must say that I am very happy with it all round. My problem is that I am currently a 36in waist and while this kilt fits great now we are coming into hiking weather and I am going to lose weight down to 35in, so I am thinking about getting a size medium also and wear the two. The sizing says that the medium is for 32-34in then it jumps to a 36-38 in. Does anyone know if a medium will fit someone that is about 35in or will it just be way too tight?

Re: Question about the elkommando kilt sizing.

I have had Elkommanodos in both small and medium because I fluctuate some also and my size rides the gap. Their sizeing limits are very exact as to the maximum. However I can always cinch down with the larger size and put the rumple where it wont bug me if wearing a pack. In fact for where I wear them at the hips. It is probably better to be an inch under the maxinum on sizing. it's not comfy to have a tight narrow waistband on top of your hip bones.

I currently have a Medium and I have a 30 waist. If I fasten just the 2 snaps and leave the belt undone. I can pull out the kilt about 2 inches from my body. If I let it hang, it will drop very low on my hips. I debating whether to get one in a size small even though the med fits as long as i use the belt.

It is a good idea with these to take the maximum inch size very seriously with these in their charts. They are intended to ride just above the hips and the pack harness that rides the hip bones.

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.
