I'm looking for a modern looking buckle to wear with the kilt belt I got coming. I want it to be of traditional closing methods but not so flashy looking. My g/f just got me one for x-mas but its a lil over the top for daily wear. I been running to every website till I'm just plain tired so can you guys please just let me sort through some of the ones you all got?

Check USAkilts website they have a few that are subdued.
I stumbled on this place while looking for someone to cast a kilt pin design. It's not really contemporary but it is something I've never seen before. http://www.ramshornstudio.com/custom_design.htm
Those are magnificent belt buckles and sporrans!

Here's the two I use most, one left is my casual buckle & on the right is my dress one.
Neo, Most traditional kilt buckles are a bit flashy because they are a dress (semi-formal) accessory. For daily wear, many of us wear a 2 to 2.5-inch wide belt with a D-ring or O-ring buckle. My daily wear belt is from Amerikilt: http://www.amerikilt.com/
