Snow + Kilt = Fun!
In early March, North Texas was hit with a rare snowstorm.
It's rare to get snow in March, and it's even more rare to get an actual substantial snow in the area anytime of the year.
I was born in Chicago and raised north of the city, and the snowstorm earlier this March made me homesick.
My wife and I went outside to check out the snow and then it clicked: kilted snow photos!!!
I recently bought my first kilt, a standard Stillwater. My kilt hose were also purchased from SWK. The kilt and hose were warmer than I thought they'd be--I figured a quick run downstairs for a picture or two would be it, but I stayed out much longer than I expected, and was very comfortable.
It makes me want to have a heavier kilt and thicker kilt hose for those cold days.
Here are the photos:

That was such a fun day! You were so cute, running around in the snow with the kilt on I'm looking forward to some hikes and walks, and I can't wait to get you better accessories like kilt hose and more kilts!

I'm really looking forward to some hikes, too! Before it gets too hot in Texas (so that's what, a few weeks ).

Darn! I'm still only juggling three. (Though I have moved on to juggling fire rather than snowballs.) But still, way to go on getting four going.
You look great in that kilt. keep it up!

Thanks to everybody who's replied. It was a fun day. I sometimes miss the snow, and it was definitely a day that brought out the kid in me.
Arlan: very cool about the juggling. I've been juggling for almost 27 years (started when I was 12). I don't juggle as much as I used to, but one of my goals this year is getting back to juggling seven things...it's been a very long time since I've practiced enough to keep six and seven things going.
It's a great hobby and there are a lot of jugglers out there. Very cool that you've moved on to fire, and I hope you keep at it and keep getting better!
