X Marks Tartan Kilt in the Snow & MacLean Hunting on the Rez

Took time out from the Gathering of Nations in Albuquerque to take the tram up to Sandia Peak. Still snow up there. The X Marks was "home" since it was sewn up by Kathy Lare.

On the way to Albuquerque took a short cut on back Rez roads (dirt and sand). Cutting across Blue Canyon south of Red Lake managed to take this shot of my MacLean Hunting Casual from USA Kilts.

Its lonely out there...miles from anywhere, but beautiful.

Hey Ron. We were down in Albuquerque and took the tram up to Sandia Peak just last month and there was NO snow then. It looked more like your second pic.

Now I’m thinking I should have worn a Kilt, man. You put the rest of us to shame.

Some great pics again Ron. I can't wait to get my XMarks kilt. The material should be in Matt's hands soon.

    Hmmm Mudd,

Then the snow must of come from the thunderboomers that were blowing through...

Tell you what, it was about 30 degrees up there that morning and I was able to stand out on the edge where the trams load for the trip back down and still be warm while everyone else huddled up in the buildings to wait.

    Them kilts is warm...
