Toronto Tartan Day
It looks like the Scottish Studies Tartan Day dinner has moved and they have combined it with the city's tartan day celebrations. It looks like a good time.

I may just go down for that, thanks for the link, the Scottish Studies Society Boat Cruise around the Toronto Islands was a wonderful experience. Any Toronto based SOKS want to go down to this?

You're welcome McMurdo! I have always looked forward to pictures of the Tartan Day Dinner that appear on the Electric Scotland website or in the Scottish Banner. If you go, take and post lots of pics.
Have fun,
Sara

I have just emailed Isobel at the Scottish Studies Society, her address is on the page that Sara linked to, they ask that if you are interested you let her know as soon as possible as there are no tickets this year they are asking for a donation instead and they say the venue holds 250 people.
I had such a wonderful time on the boat cruise they sponsored last year that I am very much looking forward to this evening as well, I am thinking about joining the Society as they really do seem a good bunch of people.
