Toronto kilties?
I will be speaking at a conference in Toronto in January. The weekend of 1/13. Any kilties in the area for a get together? Not sure if I am coming in Friday or Saturday at this point. I know that Robert (RKilts) and MacHummel are in Ontario, just not sure how close to Toronto. I would be willing to drive out if its not too far.
Although, close proximity to the leather in Robert's shop might be detrimental to my wallet...

I'm two hours away from downtown Ontario. PM me as to where you are staying and I'm sure we can make something happen.

You'll miss us Rob. We're driving from Windsor to Toronto on Boxing Day.
But I'll make the same offer as Rob for sometime during the first few days after Christmas.

I'm two hours in the other direction.
Let us know the details as it gets closer - something will get worked out.
Maybe another attempt at a Burlington Kilt Night?

Hey all, sounds like some interest. Robert and Pete, I would love to meet up with 2 of XMarks kiltmakers (but don't tell my wife, she would scream). My tentative plans right now are to fly up saturday morning 1/13. I would have all of Saturday, and most of Sunday (just need time out to make my speech), then leave again on Monday.
Wompet, if we don't meet in Toronto or environs, I might be able to swing a get together with you on the way out, or in (it depends on whether I fly into Toronto or Rochester), but I am sure we can hook up. Since I am planning on driving back (buying a vehicle from my Dad in Rochester) you are definitely on the route.
I will keep all informed. I know it is early for any Burns Dinner gatherings, but what else could I expect to do in the great city of Toronto?

What can you do in Toronto? (I totally LOVE Toronto, so...)
For starters, I'd suggest that if you get any sizeable group of Xsmarksers together, you immediately head to the CN Tower...they have a section of the floor that's foot thick clear plexiglass and 1,122 feet above ground level. You should all walk out on the plexi and anyone who's anxious to get an answer to The Question can see if they can figure it out from 1,122 feet below.
Best

I love going up to the Skypod! But with the new security screening equipment (which blows air across your body) going kilted, especially regimental, may answer the question for the unsuspecting folks waiting on the qeue. ![Laughing](http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
Sadly, I won't be back to Ontario (TO, Oakville and Burlington) until early spring, and, Cloves, I'll be in the HRM (Bedford), Lunenburg County, Annapolis Valley and Yarmouth to see family in June. I can see running up to Charlottetown for the day.
Have fun on your trip, Rob. Make sure and check out the St. Lawrence Market while you're there too. It's one of my favorite touristy things to do in TO.
