Anyone order one of these from this vendor? http://www.tartanweb.com/shop/highla...waistcoat.html Ordered this style a year or two ago (same picture, different name, different vendor) but received a Crail style. Returned it. Received a slightly different Crail. So does the 'Wallace' exist? Does it look like the picture? Ya'know, longer body, three buttons, plain pockets, no cuffs and no epaulettes.

Yes, the Wallace Jacket does exist. But for those who have ever tried to order one you find that you always get something other than what is in this picture. My Solution-----The Kilt Cut Sport Coat. I have finally found a source in the UK to make my Jackets. They are very similar to what you see in the photo above. An Argyle Jacket but without the fancy cuffs, epaulets, or scalloped pockets. All have horn buttons. To allow for wear with Kilts worn slightly lower than Full Traditional Rise the front curve for the Sporran is slightly less severe and there are three buttons on the Jacket. This Jacket is available in both the Charcoal Tweed similar to that shown in the photo and also in a gorgeous Caramel Brown Tweed. Yes, you read that right Brown Tweed. I think this is the only currently available Brown Tweed Jacket. The Jacket can be ordered with 5 button waistcoat or by itself. All Jackets are made to measure, in the UK, and available only through me. Please PM or email me for photos, pricing, and measuring instructions.

Uh-oh, I just ordered the same jacket from a different vendor. I wonder what I'll end up with I'll let you know when it comes in. Cheers, Kev
I have this style of jacket in my wardrobe. Please see the post below for the specifics. http://www.xmarksthescot.com/forum/n...x.html?t=33902 Cordially, David
