apology to Hamish
to the Grand and Exalted Hamish:
I owe you an apology, good sir.
I recently told a friend of mine about this forum and all the wonderful things in it. As part of that audio tour, I regaled her with tales of the photos I had seen here of your kollection and informed her that it contained 72 kilts. Upon further (and better) reading, however, I discovered that it's not 72, but NINETY-TWO. I offer my most profound aplogies for this unintentional slight, and vow to never let it happen again. If you wish, please feel free to slur, impugn or otherise belittle my kollection and both its inhabitants.
With kindest regards,

Piper, I must inform you appoligies will still be in order; at last count Hamish's closet count was closer to 97. But I may be wrong as I don't know if that includes the Lady Crystal.

I've the perfect solution.... if Hamish would just "donate" some of his unused kilts to me I'd be more than willing to help his Kollection number come into close proximity to your reported number.

How could I have missed this thread?
I know. I never spend long enough at XMTS to read everything, and seldom get as far as the Off Topic section.
Well, Piper, what can I say? I think it's probably best that we overlook the error of your ways as retribution is not within my character. An eye for an eye and all that ...... that's no way to resolve anything in my book. Just promise me that it shall not happen again -Ah! I see you already have. Well, that's fine with me. The matter is forgiven. Forgiven but not forgotten!
Oh, by the way: the figure is 95. I have mentioned several times that it is not 92 as stated in my Avatar, but no-one seems able to update it - I certainly cannot!
Take care,
Ham.

No, no! I cannot afford 97! As stated above to Piper, the total number of kilts within The Kilt Kollection is actually 95. Not 92 nor 97 but 95. Yes, the Lady Chrystel double box-pleated gorgeousness is No.95.
Take care,
Ham.

But my dual kilt collection seems so lonely in the closet with no one but each other to keep them company. I'd hate to be the break up of such an esteemed family such as lives in your closet. Perhapse it is wisest to just let them stay on your side of the pond.
