Fedoras from Target?
I'm thinking about getting a fedora. Does anyone have one of Target's fedoras? If so, how do they hold up?
I think a fedora would go real well with a kilt, by the way.

Good folks to work with when I bought my cowboy hats (they also had all other types)

Ted,
My son has two of them and for $15.00 they are fairly well made.
I personally don't think they work with a kilt though.

Thanks, all.
Guess I need to start worrying about what color to get. It might be that I need to get a gray one and a brown-ish one...

Gray is probably the most versatile colour for a fedora. I have a gray and a black, which work with everything I have. I'd like a brown, as well, but more for hiking and such.

Well, I get a little picky about putting a few types of brown with gray or with black., but thinking over my nicer clothing, I don't know that I have that much of that kind of brown.
These are the colors of my suits:
Navy blue,
Black,
Dark gray (that one has a waistcoat that I use with the other three suits),
and a gray/brown suit that has little bits of the two colors all through it.
Then I have three sport jackets: light gray, tan (with brown buttons), and medium brown.
I have a medium brown and a very dark brown kilt jacket.
Going by that, I could probably do alright starting with a gray fedora, then think about getting a brown one at some point.

I too have looked often at those fedoras at Target. While I do think they are worth buying (I have one, but got it from Kohls about three years ago), I'm not so sure that it would go with a traditional. There's a guy around campus that wears his with his UK and it seems to go alright.

There's pictures of me wearing my gray fedora in this thread:

They're all casual, and the fedora isn't from Target, but it may give an idea for a look.
