You know Puffer.... His is missing something... Till now, I have yet seen a Navy M/Chief without a cuppa joe in his hand... LOL

He reminds me of my old Gunny.. That man was full of vim and vigor, he was former Recon.. He commanded respect the moment he walked in the room, and there was nothing he wouldn't do for his boys... And after all these years... We still keep in contact..... Good man.... And I am sure friend is exactly the same way...

Here is another man no one should ever mess with, although he is not a kilt wearer I did have the opportunity to meet with him while working at the Pentagon where he was speaking about his recent book. I then saw him again at TREXPO East where he was a guest speaker. His hands are like sledge hammers!

WASHINGTON, D.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--August 8, 1995--Richard Marcinko, creator of SEAL Team Six, the U.S. Navy's acclaimed counterterrorist force and author of "Rogue Warrior" and the "Green Team," will discuss what America is doing to counter terrorism.

Marcinko's is one of 25 workshops for tactical police officers and security specialists at TREXPO EAST, the Tactical Resources Expo & Conference which expects to host over 1,500 law-enforcement and security personnel at The Sheraton Washington Hotel Aug. 8 - 11. He speaks at 12:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 10.

That man has been over the hill and seen the elephant....more than once. Friendship from a man such as that a gift beyond value, I know having the friendship of one such as him.

    Weasel :ootd:
