    Souvenir games pins

I have seen souvenir highland games pins worn on Glengarry caps. Any thoughts on that or on other ways to display one's collection?

My neighbour has all of his pins displayed in a shadow box hanging above the toilet in the downstairs loo.

Before I had my XMarks cap badge that is what I did with one of my Long's Peak Games pins. Didn't look exactly right but it filled in the spot on the cap. Another thing you could do is use a few of them as kilt pins since they don't weigh much.

Apologies. I meant in addition to one's cap badge. On the gentleman I have in mind, he wore his badge in the usual spot and the pins were to the right (or, if you prefer, the rear) of the cap badge.

I'm having a difficult time locating a photo image that will demonstrate what I mean, so I guess this practice is unique to this gentleman. Other replies confirm this.

I've seen what you are describing before; personally, I feel the old "rule" about only one lapel badge per jacket applies to bonnets/glengarries as well -- the cap badge is all you need, INMHO. Others may disagree and free to, of course.

I'm with Todd on this one.

Another option is to use a decorative pin as a tie tac

I prefer displaying my collection of Tartan Day Buttons in a Riker Mount.

This is a new one on me - I didn't know that these things existed. I suppose it is the organisers that sell them as an extension of the fund raising?

Put 'em in a shadowbox. I don't pin them on hats or clothing.

People also tend to place them on their jacket in various places. Bikers would place them on their leather or denim waistcoat and punks place them everywhere possibe!
It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself.
