A Friends Wedding...
No this is not gonna be one of those threads about "should I wear a kilt to a wedding?" or "should I ask someone how to dress for the wedding?" etc...
Barbara, one of our motorcycling friends, got married today (3/6) in a small, but very nice ceremony in Cypress Texas, out West a bit from Houston. It was a lovely day for it. I wore my kilt, and as usual I took some photos....And who doesn't like weddings?
Here's a couple photos;

Barbara and her Dad.

The Happy Couple.

The Bride and I.

Jill, one of the Bridesmaids. I knew the wedding colors were Ivory and Blue, so I made a little effort to blend in.

My good friend Mindy, my wife had to work at the Houston Rodeo that morning, so Mindy was my date.

Fancy Cake. It took 3 'cake toppers' to cover all their hobbies!

Barbara's bike club.

Bubble Attack!
I can assure you that I did not "upstage the Bride" like folks always worry about! Not even close!
I did take a few photos with the girls, and have nice conversations about the usual kilt/Celtic stuff.
Barbara's father has traveled quite a bit in Scotland, and we had a nice conversation about it. He told me it was obvious that I had respect for the kilt and it's history, and thanked me for wearing my best for the day.
