    top of the kilt queue

Pulled the trigger on a new kilt from keltoi a while ago and I'm now top of the queue
I'm going with the Kinguisse deluxe in Macdonald clan ancient colours heavyweight from HoE. I've also ordered matching argylle stockings, garter ties and a modified L&M hunting sporran. John and I hope to share some pictures of the goings on. It's for my second daughters wedding on the first weekend of October

I haven't seen a Kinguissie in wool, so I would be very interested to see how it drapes. Also haven't seen a Keltoi. If you're in the Vancouver area sometime, be sure to give us a call-out: I'm sure the local rabble would want to get a look at your kilt.
EPITAPH: Decades from now, no one will know what my bank balance looked like, it won't matter to anyone what kind of car I drove, nor will anyone care what sort of house I lived in. But the world will be a different place, because I did something so mind bafflingly eccentric that my ruins have become a tourist attraction.

Apparently I am next up - solidly in second place in the queue. Saw John on Saturday to be measured up for my box-pleated Maple Leaf. Very exciting! Also managed to place an order for Argyle hose (Campbell of Cawdor) in anticipation of the Toronto St. Andrew's Ball.

By the way, congratulations on the upcoming wedding. I have two adult daughters and I haven't done that with either one (and not likely to any time soon).

I own 2 Kingussie Keltoi kilts to go along with my box pleated and tweed Keltoi kilts. You will not go wrong. John's quality and service is top shelf.

Way to go! Nice choices. I don't envy your Jonesing, though. Can't wait to see the pictures. Hang in there.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
