Royal Air Force Tartan Kilt en route!

Can't find the thread that convinced me to buy this kilt. Think it rolled off the pictures forum.

Bottom line, Kathy Lare has just finished sewing up and pressing my new Royal Air Force tartan 16 oz strome from Lochcarron. I just sent her the final payment and I expect it to hit my post office very soon.

For the new folks who may have missed the original thread, my father was a fighter pilot with the Royal Air Force in 1942. Wanted to honor his service.

It was an adventure getting the material...lots of misunderstandings and communication problems that Kathy ironed out for me.

Yes, will post pics as soon as it arrives.

    Happy, happy, happy.

Aye, thanks WSK,.....but what's your secret?

When I go in the front door can only get to five pages of posts through mid November...?

Clicked on the drop down and put in page 6 and it just served up page 5 so figured the old pics rolled off.

Any clues for the clueless appreciated.

And, of course looking at Cessna's RAF kilt just has me salivating more in anticipation.

    What? Give up my secrets?

I just used the search link in the line of links at the top of the page. No real secret there. I think that the search terms I used were Royal Air Force.

No answers for your page limit problem. Likely a browser issue since as far as I have been able to determine, most threads here do not expire. I guess I'd advise you to ask Mike1 in the tech questions forum. Good luck.

Excellent news, Ron, looking forward to you posting pics of yourself in your new RAF kilt.
