Congrats! I love that tartan, but I'm no preacher-man nor a Clark... too bad Enjoy.
I remember Rocky saying that they can do fly plaids, but just don't advertise it on the site. You might do a search here. It wasn't that long ago (within the past week if I remember correctly.)

E-mail Rocky and talk to him; he's always been very prompt, helpful and courteous (even with some of my goofier questions).

Hey Celtic Ranger...
First of all, Thanks for the order! (I read this thread after I got your PM)
Second... please give us a call. I want to make sure the measurements are spot on. Kelly is working on slightly more involved measurements for women (naval, "jeans waist", Hips, thighs, and length) to insure a more proper fit. We'll wait until we get these measurements to make the kilt. We'll be adding them to the site in a few weeks, but I wanted to make sure they are accurate for your wife.
Third... Yes, we CAN make fly plaids and no, we don't advertise that we do. Call me to add that to the order as well... 610.935.3444

No Worries
Rocky,
Great talking to you too!!... I should have been more clear but My wife wears The MacThomas Tartan often so as a surprise to her and a nod to her family (Who have been be really good to me ) I am going to wear their Tartan around too. Plus it will make my 25th Kilt. Eager to see you and your wife's workmanship upclose. I am blessed by the fact that my family traces roots to Scotland, Wales, Ireland....and Germany. Lots of Tartans to collect. Eventually I will finish the Family, district, national ones and go to my wish list. Between me and my wife our list goes into the 100's. But what else is there to spend money on !!!
