Edinburgh Castle from the Esplanade - much busier than Stirling was.
Looking down from the Esplanade to the start of the Royal Mile. The spire is of the Highland Kirk Tolbooth, and the cupola of the Camera Obscura can be seen.
The building immediately past the white building on the left is the Geoffrey (Tailor) mill and shop.
Statue of Frederick, Duke of York on the Castle Esplanade. He was the second son of George III and I believe the source of the famous "Grand Old Duke of York" nursery rhyme.
