    Urgent help from military brothers

OK, I've been putting it off, but with my Army tartan soon on the way, I need help. I can't find my old unit crests (they're in a box somewhere), and I really want a 9th Cav crest to wear as a kilt pin. I've already spoken to US CAV and they don't have the 9th for some reason (actually since the 9th is split up and attached all over it is not that surprising). Brigade Quartermaster also doesn't sell crests.

So anyone with access to a base PX, that would be willing to look for me would be greatly appreciated. If possible I'd also like an officers Cavalry branch pin (brass not subdued) to put on my nightstalker sporran.

If anyone can help, please let me know.

    Thanks
    Adam

    You might try Ranger Joes

    http://www.rangerjoe.com/

The quick search I did did not show the 9th Cav, but you might call them and see if they have a lead.

For those who may not know, "Crunchies" is an affectionate term used by mounted cavalry for our "dismounted" brothers.

Due to the "crunch" sound of the boots on the ground, right?

Actually, it seems to be a universal name for Infantry guys. My PSG calls me one. I can't help it if I see everything through blue lenses - even Signal Corp missions.
