    Looking for Heavy Metal/Gothic Kilts

Hey guys. I have been looking for a while for a kilt that would be great to wear at my concerts. I usually wear my red kilt, but I am looking for something a little bit more Metal. I have heard of Heavy Metal/Gothic kilts, but have never seen one. You know, black, silver studs/spikes, band logs, etc.

Does anyone know of any sites that sell kilts like these?

    Thanks,

    Hemlock \m/

I should think a leather kilt (such as sold by Union Kilts or Sport kilt) with the addition of a few spikes, studs, or appropriate band badges/pins would be exactly the thing you are looking for.

    Cheers

In addition to the excellent suggestions above, look at the nightstalker tartan from Stillwater Kilts.

I've seen people customize their black Utilikilt Workman's to achieve the look you describe.

    Best regards,

You might look at Guilty Kilts of London. I think the web site is guiltykilts.com

I ain't Gothic, but I'm with Monkey, go with the Utilikilt black workman's. Here's a pic that shows the metal they give you to start with. A lot of folks add chains and spikes. Easy to do with the heavy material, your spikes won't droop....

I added patches on the pockets too. Heard of a lady who sewed trim along the hemline.

Of course, if you have the time and can afford it, look at the UK Leather Kilt along with the other leather kiltmakers. Robert at RKilts might even do some custom Gothic attachments when he makes it up...ask him.

Hot topic used to carry a line of 'Goth' kilts by Trippe NYC. These kilts are still available on ebay from time to time.

However, If you can wait, Call up Rkilts. Robert makes a great leather kilt. I wear mine to various Goth clubs and I have gotten lots of compliments.
