    Lochcarron's new Visitor Centre, Selkirk

Lochcarron's new visitor centre, located in former mill premises in Selkirk, opened at Easter.

There are already a few artefacts on display, but the premises are still being fitted out and the facility won't be fully open until next month.

There is already a spacious shop.

Some bonnie kilts and jackets to tempt.

Plenty of Cashmere and other quality knitwear for the ladies.
Regional Director for Scotland for Clan Cunningham International, and a Scottish Armiger.

I managed to take a wrong turning in Selkirk last month and still missed this!

But next time I'm up it looks well worth a visit! Thanks for the pics Alex.

    Rocky,

I'm away from home and all my reference at the moment, but I believe that is Scrymgour.

Just looked in up on Lochcarron's website. It's named: Scrimgeor

Anyone know the significance of the name: Scrimgeor?

I've always known it as Scrymgeour. It is a small clan with roots in Nothern Ulster islands, I believe.
