Kilt Kamp and Kilt Night
Well, the first Kilt Kamp/Kilt Night is now in the history books and the Fernwood area of Victoria may never be the same.
The Wizard of BC and the Kilted Knome were nothing short of amazing as host and hostess. Their hospitality knows no bounds.
The purpose of this post is to share pics and hopefully inspire my brethren rabble to venture out and partake in "The Ashton Experience".
Way2Fractious shows off some of his handiwork. Note that WILD lining.
In the shop with Barb and David.
Kiltman and his lovely wife, Katherine.
Two "sharp dressed men" ready for Kilt Night.
The patio of the Fernwood Inn. Great looking kilts and good conversation.

More to come.

My point of view of the band. Great band and the blond is hot. I wonder if she is single....
Dave and I decided to shoot at each other. That is Derrick in the yellow shirt.
Big Mike is larger than life. He barely fits into the frame.

Way2facious was showing off his Ferguson Box Pleat Kilt to Gordon Krikbright. Gordon took a look of the kilt and carefully examine the cloth. Suddenly, he asked W2F,'Where did you get this Cloth?'
W2F told Gordon that he bought that cloth off eBay. W2F told Gordon that he believed the cloth was from Lochcarron Mill because if felt like the Weathered McLaren that he also owns.
To everyone's surprise, Gordon told W2F that the cloth was not from Lockcarron but from Fraser and Kirkbright. Gordon weaved that cloth a few years ago and he recognised that because some of the special thread that he had used for that particular run.

Tsk, Tsk???? Casper, the Irish times makes a killer Black and tan. I highly recommend them. However, that looks more like a half and half (Guinness and Harp) as it is too light for the Black and tan (Guinness and Bass). That place has one of the best beer selections I have seen in a long time. Looks like a good time lads. I wish I could have made it.

Does that make me vintage orr just old, I wonder....
Keep an eye out in September. The Canucks are getting new uniforms. I am willing to bet it is the retro log but with the current navy, red, white colours.
