Is it a Casual or Dress belt that you need if it is a casual you could check out your local hardware stores for a tool belt, I have one of these in brown for casual and it cost about $19.99 shipped by me in my car.

Here is what it looks like:

If you are looking for a dress belt you could always check ebay.

I'm assuming you're wanting a traditional waist plate style belt?

You might try Frugal Corner also. Mark doesn't list his belt price on the site yet so you will need to call.

It will probably be one of those two though to come in under $30 delivered. Or ebay.

i'd like something more traditional than the tool belt. thanks, though.

definitely like the sporran hangers on your site, cavscout.

Well sorry but for the price you quoted what do you expect, I am wearing a dress belt right now the belt was $50.00 and the buckle was $50.00.
Sometimes in life you get what you pay for and for $30.00 shipped I thought it was a viable option for you. If you have your heart set on something more traditional than stop being so cheap.

The belt from SWK is quite presentable; I have one. Sometimes it will be a little overkill for day wear. If that's what your budget dictates, it is a good compromise on the casual/dressy scale; you could wear it almost any time.

Mine was a little stiff, but if you supply a dollar's worth of leather balm and some elbow grease, it's a bargain. Proceed with caution: this is how the SWK kilt in my avatar photo proved its launderability on the day I received it. That's the SWK belt, too, bigger photo here http://farm1.static.flickr.com/193/5...9673afade5.jpg

Later it can have a nicer buckle added, or become a hand-me-down to a newly-kilted friend or relative.
