    My new kilted boots...

I recently purchased a pair of Georgia Boot 6" logger boots that happen to each come with their own kilt (actually, they're called kilties). These were super comfortable right out of the box and have remained so. I definitely give them the thumbs up.

These pics were taken at the Capital District Scottish Games. There was a trememdous amount of dust as you can tell...

Nice boots, right now I have a pair of Cats that are very comfortable however they have seen better days, so I may just be in the market for something like that I just have to stop buying kilts first.

Wrong again. I thought they were gonna have little tartan kilts around the tops of the boots, like them things they put on beer cans and long necks. Sorta like them popcorn and diced hose top kilt hose additions.

Little kilts around the tops of the boots....don't know if thats a genius niche market idea or just a great way to start a bar fight.

What is the history behind the kilties? There must've been a reason.

Well, Georgia Boot says their kiltie is a brush guard but I suspect it's more of a style thing. It's removable and laces right in over the tongue.

A lot of boots have those kilties.

I have three pairs of these, in different colors and they all have them.
