2007 Pleasanton Highland Games Pictures!
I only took a couple pics at the Pleasanton Games. The first is from behind the stage where Albanach was playing. Can you spot Panache in his bonnet? and Monkey@Arms on Panache's left? Look just above the drum.
Saturday night a group of Nor-Cal Rabble invaded and terrorized a very fine, upscale establishment for dinner. After we left (no, we weren't asked to leave) an innocent bystander (at least she looked innocent) was pressed into duty as photographer.
Next month, different games...
"Listen Men.... You are no longer bound down to the unmanly dress of the Lowlander." 1782 Repeal.

I get it, instead of "Where's Waldo?" we can play "Pinpoint Panache"
The boy and I had a great day at the games, on Saturday. Glad we had a chance to visit, albeit briefly.
Best regards,
Jake

Ah yes, spotted Panache in his bonnet once I figured out how to enlarge the picture.
Thanks for posting W2f and thanks also Panache for posting more great shots of what looks to have been a great event blessed with fine weather.

Fine weather! Did you say fine weather!? It was 105 degrees on Sunday! I was miserable! Can you imagine doing Highland Dance in 100+ weather? I only watched them and I almost passed out! But the games were good.
As you can tell, I don't like heat much. If we ever do get to Scotland, I may not come back.
Be well,

Very nice pictures! Thanks to everyone at the Clan MacNaughton for your hospitality and thanks to everyone who expressed an interest in the box-pleat kilt. It is Weathered Anderson tartan made by Matt Newsome, as you've all been discussing. I definitely had an excellent time this weekend, and hope to see more of you at the Seaside Highland Games. 'Till then!
Slainte,
Scott

Scott,
Welcome to X marks the Scot! It was grand meeting you in Pleasanton. You certainly pull off wearing a kilt very well.
Cheers
