    Talking Finally did it

Well today I finally did it, I wore my first kilt in public for the first time. It is a Macleod hunting from SWK in the standard weight. It was unbelievably comfortable and with the exception of a few looks no comments or questions. I am with out question looking forward to the next time.

The more you wear it out the more confident you become. After awhile you don't even think about & the sweeping the pleats when you sit becomes automatic & quite natural for you.

Where did you go in it? I wear my all over the Mesa, Tempe, Chandler are all the time. I'm kilted about 50% of the time these days. Someday i'll get to 100% but I first need more kilts (I only own 4) plus I can't wear them to work so that kills much of my time. I usually change though when i get home.

Sorry didn't mean to quote in the above post. I tried editing my response and it kept freezing up.

Well I wore it to the Chandler Mall birthday shopping for my wife, then did a quick stop at walmart in Tempe to pick up a wood hanger for the kilt.

Nice. The mall is always a fun experience. You'll have to try and make it for our next kilted outing. We might have one in October, but we will most definitely have one in November.
