    Military issue 182-96-108

What do the numbers 182-96-108 on a label sewn on a military issue O.R. kilt signify?

    Thanks

I'm not sure...but my three guesses would be:

    1) Lot Numbers
    2) Serial Numbers
    3) Size (waist, length, hips)

Good luck on finding out, though.

    Cheers.

If that's the size, I can only hope that it's in mm

    Thats right.

I have a kilt thats 188-96-112, this is the largest size before "special made to order" (or at least was).

historically the sizes were just numbered size 6, Size 7 size 8 etc. this meant it was nigh on impossible for someone without stores experience to tell if they were getting the right sized kit. It changed to this metric basis late 80's early 90's IIRC

The first number is the height of the wearer's height, in centimeters, the second number is the waist, in centimeters, the third number is the hip, also in centimeters.

    I see I wasn't fast enough

What else does the label say?
