Marine Rank for $20?!
Thought some of the other former Marines would get a kick out of this... Someone on Ebay selling Gunnery Sergeant collar insignia for $19.99!! What a joke. I couldn't help myself, I had to bring it up...

Hey, if some one buys it, more power to them.
Now if it belonged to a famous Gunny.......Say, Ermy, or Hathcock, I could see that.

While I have no idea what you would do with them - say the word Grant and I'll send you a bunch..... I'm pretty sure I have a complete set all the way from Pfc to M/GySgt..... Let me know. In the PX, I think they cost like $1.25.

Hey I've got lots of old Marine collarr insignia I'd part with for that price.
And I can go to the local surplus store and get more if they like. Some people will buy anything.

He must need the money pretty badly.
Maybe if it sells I'll have to swing by the PX...hey, that could be an extra income source for the kilt fund. Too bad my conscience gets in the way of giving people a raw deal.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

I feel that it would be disrespectful for the insignia to be worn by someone who did not deserve it. However, there are people who collect all types of military insignia as a hobby, including rank insignia from all services and all nations. The $20 is a bit high, unless it is some rare type.

I should have held onto my boots - combat worn and 13 jumps from a high performance aircraft. People will definitely buy anything.

Maybe I should sell off my old E-1 insignia. Would look good on an invisible kilt.
