    Jacket for wearing with belted plaid

    Hi, not sure if posting in correct place but i have some tartan material i want to be made into a jacket to be worn with my belted plaid. Does anyone have a pattern i could pass onto someone who will make this or know anyone in Scotland or close to here that makes such items?

    Any info would be great

    Here's a pattern for the short Scottish jacket (plus shirt and sewn hose):

    Or, if you wanted a fancier 1740's Highland coat, like a chief or clan gentleman would wear, you could use this pattern, but make the coat shorter in the highland style (no longer than the bottom of the pockets):
