Kilted Mayor in Vancouver
The kilted new mayor of Vancouver, Gregor Robertson, was sworn in yesterday. The front page of the city's largest newspaper featured this photo this morning.

Hey good for you guys out there, I don't think we'd ever get our mayor in a kilt. He looks rather confident in his kit.
Here are a few more photos

He doesn't look old enough to be a mayor!
Seriously though what a great example to give to the males in Vancouver!

Vancouver has had a number of kilted mayors in its 125-year history, including its first one, Malcolm MacLean, born on Tiree, Gordon Campbell, the present Premier of BC, and Larry Campbell, on whose earlier life as a coroner the ninety-one episodes of the TV series The Davinci Inquest was modelled.
