Kilted at doctor's
Wore a kilt on Friday, when I had a doctor's appointment, following up on my hospitalization for malaria. (Long story.) The doctor commented favorably. And I'm pretty sure I made the day for the X-ray tech. She looked gloomy until she saw me, but couldn't stop smiling once she saw the kilt.

Also kilted at dr's office.
I have a prostrate exam conducted by my 35-40 yr old lady doctor and she did not even bat an eye during the exam. She had also seen me or me bringing my wife in before and I was always wearing a kilt, ususaly a utilikilt mocker.

I have had a LOT of visits to the urologist over the past couple of years and the kilt makes the whole visit so much easier. (I won't go into what happens during these visits, this is a family friendly forum.

It makes it far easer when they tell you to turn your head and cough.

Lots of sympathy, Iain. I had malaria back in '88 (another long story) and wouldn't wish it on anyone.
