Marc Jacobs in a kilt
Of course TMZ has to poke fun, but I think he did it justice!

He's really only relevant to the U.S. markets where he has shown himself a skilled and astute media darling with a penchant now to wearing skirts and even high heels (not to mention a SpongeBob tattoo). In the U.S. (particularly in Los Angeles and NYC) he is extremely influential among the "fashionable". Beyond his own, primarily American market, clothing brands he is currently head designer for Louis Vuitton (In Europe, I think Vuitton is considered a luggage maker and not, unlike Hermes, accepted for clothing).

Thanks Big Paul and Nanook - no wonder I'd not heard of him!
You are correct: Hear the name Louis Vuitton over here and one immediately thinks of brown luggage decorated with masses of small, yellow LV logos, and every piece massively over-priced!
Take care,
Ham.

Thanks, Hamish. I'm glad I'm not the only one who had no clue who he is.

Wow, that's a tight shirt..
Not tight = cool, but tight = no circulation.

He seems to be getting some attention for kilting up lately. Good for him. Personally I'd like to suggest a new shirt...but what do I know of fashion...heck I wear a kilt of all things.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.
