It's in the Mail -- my new kilt
Kathy Lare sent an email this morning saying that she was taking my new kilt to the Post Office! It should be here Monday --- but wait, Monday's a holiday -- so it should be here Tuesday!
This is my Christmas present from my wife, my first 8yd wool, hand stitched.... the real deal.
As it is, it's about 3 weeks earlier than we expected. Mr Dalgliesh seems to have expedited getting the fabric woven and shipped to Kathy.

You know, until you mentioned it, I completely forgot that I don't have to go to work on Monday! Yesterday somebody said, "I think we're all looking forward to the long weekend," and I had no clue what she was talking about. Doh!
is right!
Pity about having to wait for a new kilt though.
Regards,
Rex.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Well some of us have to work! But this is a great thing, and I look forward to seeing this kilt in person. The Jones for you is almost over.

I really need to call that lady, see if she has any ideas on of couple of kilts on my wish lists, I mean we live in the same town really! Course could be dangerous to pocketbook and life and limb (especially since the wife does not know about the two I am currently awaiting)

Remind us what tartan?
For sure wear it right away...Kathy's work is like the Rolls Royce of kilts...strut, show off, put a bit of extra swish in your hips. Pure joy.

It is the Episcopal Clergy tartan -- see here>> http://www.tartanregister.gov.uk/tar....aspx?ref=1117
It will be in the category of unusual tartans. I'm anxious to see it. Kathy says that it is "gorgeous." There will be those who try to figure out the clan!

Support your local business! You could go see her in person.
